Bovendien hebben fibromyalgie-patiënten soms het gevoel dat hun gewrichten opzwellen als ze dat niet zijn. Het maakt deel uit van de gegeneraliseerde, ongemakkelijke symptomen die fibromyalgie veroorzaakt. En het maakt de behandeling nog moeilijker omdat er geen fysieke symptomen zijn.

Wat veroorzaakt zwelling van fibromyalgie?
