Durante las próximas semanas, se extendió a todo mi cuerpo. Mi doctor no tenía idea de lo que estaba pasando. Ninguno de los doctores en la práctica lo hizo.
Después de mucha persistencia, obtuve una cita del Servicio Nacional de Salud (NHS) con la unidad espinal. ¿Su veredicto? Todo está bien. Lo cual fue bueno, de alguna manera. En otras formas, fue un poco “Oh. Bueno, ¿qué hago ahora? “Momento. Había estado sucediendo durante tres meses, por lo que definitivamente podría clasificarse como dolor crónico.
Fue solo cuando estaba investigando la condición de otra persona que de repente tuve una idea de lo que era. Uno de mis seguidores de Twitter tiene fibromialgia, y cuando miré para ver qué era, de repente tuve una revelación. Estos fueron mis síntomas. Les diría a los demás en mi situación que se mantuvieran fuertes. Las citas con el médico no son fáciles de conseguir en el Reino Unido, por lo que mi principal apoyo, asesoramiento e información provienen casi por completo de Internet. Si no tiene soporte local, Internet tiene todo un mundo de información. Sin embargo, recuerde tener mucho cuidado al usarlo, porque es un mundo de información y también un mundo de desinformación.
