Klima og fibromyalgi:  Hvordan justere den interne termostaten? 
Det er vanlig for personer med fibromyalgi å si at en viss type vær eller temperaturendringer forverrer symptomene. Mange klager over å være kald hele tiden, eller varme hele tiden, eller alternativt.

Og det er sant, flere studier bekrefter det: Dette symptomet kalles temperaturfølsomhet.

Hos pasienter med fibromyalgi, forklarer eksperter, den interne termostaten er ødelagt, en “deregulering” som gjør pasientene mer følsomme overfor visse forhold. Det vil si hvis det er veldig varmt, er det sannsynlig at personen føler seg enda mer ekstrem .

Kroppen din vil lide overdrevet, med mer svette, mer tørst, mer intoleranse. Dette kan få smerten til å redusere, men også øke tretthet. Noen undersøkelser viser at kroppen ikke har evne til å tilpasse seg endringer i temperatur, sammen med en lav smerte toleranse grense forbundet med varme og kulde stimuli.

Det er at folk som lider av fibromyalgi har en annen innvirkning fra eksterne stimuli: mange har ekstrem fysisk følsomhet for enkelte situasjoner. Og været er ikke noe unntak.

Smerter, utmattelse og andre typiske symptomer er svært forbundet med været. Det varierer avhengig av om det er kaldt eller varmt, og også i henhold til fuktigheten.


Om vinteren, tvert imot, blir smerte hovedpersonen. Folk med fibromyalgi kan føle mye av kulde og vil ta lengre tid å komme inn i varmen.

Hvis du bruker en vifte eller klimaanlegg, unngå å blåse direkte på deg. Folk som er følsomme overfor forkjølelsen, føler seg frosset i beinet og har problemer med å bli varme

Anbefalinger for kaldt dager.

Det er viktig å huske på at i mennesker med fibromyalgi, kan kroppen ikke tilpasse seg riktig, så føttene blir kalde, og selv om de har tykke sokker, kan det ikke være å varme opp føttene. Derfor har miljøet større innvirkning på kroppen.

Noen ideer for å forhindre at dette skjer er:

Hold føttene dekket når det ‘s kaldt 
varmt Dressing (men dressing kan også utløse symptomer på hete følsomhet) 
Drikk drikke 
varmt å spise varm mat som suppe og havregryn 
Varm bilen før du forlater hjemmet 
holde varm og vennlig atmosfære 
Ha ting som tepper og oppvarmingssko for hånd.
