Clean your lymphatic system and avoid fibromyalgia, obesity, swelling and more.

Natural methods for cleansing the lymphatic system

The truth is that most people have never heard of lymphatic drainage or even the lymphatic system. This is because you do not talk about that often; however, in 2012 researchers from the USC made this statement: “… the lymphatic system is no less essential than the blood circulatory system for human health and well-being”. Read on to learn more about this system that has been little explored but with the same importance as any system in our body. Discover, how the cleaning of  the lymphatic system , brings multiple benefits for your health.

how to clean the lymphatic system

Researchers found that the lymphatic system is of vital importance for both tissue repair and control of inflammation in most organs of the human body.

The obstruction of the drainage of the lymphatic system, gives rise to a deteriorated immune system, or even tumors in the lymphatic ganglia. Even if you exercise your body every day, it is also necessary to exercise your lymphatic system, helping it to drain properly. Keeping the lymphatic system in great shape is necessary for optimal health.

Why you must detoxify your lymphatic system

You probably already know that we are exposed to a large amount of toxins every day, to be more specific about 82,000 different toxins.

When toxins accumulate and you have not done detoxification, our system and organs become overloaded and compromise our overall health.

This is where  the lymphatic system  comes into play. The lymphatic system cleanses the fluid that surrounds the cells of your body by removing impurities and waste products. This helps the body cells to function properly.

An unhealthy lymphatic system can lead to serious health problems such as fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, obesity, pain and discomfort, bloating and problems with digestion.

Natural methods for a deep cleansing of the lymphatic system

Drink enough water

Your body needs approximately one tablespoon of water per pound (0.45 kilograms) to stay properly hydrated and keep the lymphatic fluid flowing properly.

Eat enough vegetables

Get enough vitamins C and B. Avoid foods that are difficult to digest, particularly fatty foods, animal products and especially sugar. Avoid processed foods that contain artificial preservatives, flavorings and colors. Eat raw nuts, cereals and avocados to get the essential fatty acids your lymphatic system needs.

Eat raw fruits and vegetables

Eat raw fruits and vegetables, which contain enzymes that work mightily to cleanse the lymphatic system. Drink sugar-free cranberry juice diluted to emulsify the fat in the lymphatic system.

Take cleaning herbs alone or in tea or tincture to clean the lymphatic system. Some of the herbs useful for purifying the lymphatic system include the astragalus, the clove, the echinacea, the golden seal, the phytolac and the wild indigo.

Cleaning the lymphatic system with herbs

The following six herbs can be taken alone or in combination of two or more herbs in a tea or tincture.

Echinacea spp .) Not only is it a potent immune stimulation, Echinacea combines well with the talus to decrease congestion and swelling in the lymphatic system.

Make a decoction with 2 teaspoons dried echinacea per cup of water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Drink 1 cup, three times a day. Or take a teaspoon of tincture three times a day.

Astragalus membranaceus ). The Chinese have been using the astragalus, which they refer to as  huang qi , for more than 2,000 years.

“Huang qi” means “strengthening vital force.” In addition to strengthening the force of life, the talus is an excellent cleanser of the lymphatic system. Along with echinacea, it relieves congestion and inflammation in the body.

Astragalus is available mainly as a tincture, or in the form of a capsule or tablet. Because the potency can vary a lot with this herb, it is best to follow the package instructions for the optimal dosage.

Galium aparine ). Known primarily as a cleanser of the blood and urinary tract, blades also improves the function of the lymphatic system and decreases congestion and inflammation in the tissues.

This herb improves the ability of the lymphatic system to treat toxins and combines well with phytoplank (see below).

For the knife tea, use 2 to 3 teaspoons of the dried herb (stems and small leaves) per cup of water. Drink a cup three times a day. As an alternative, use 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of tincture three times a day. Avoid the use of blades if you suffer from diabetes or have diabetic tendencies.

Hydrastis canadensis ). In addition to having anti-inflammatory properties, the golden seal stimulates lymphatic cleansing. Use 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of dried herb per infusion cup. Drink 3 cups a day or take 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of tincture three times a day.

Phytolacca americana ). Phytolac is a useful herb to improve the flow of lymph. It works well for adenitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis, inflammation of the glands, mumps, mastitis.

Take a teaspoon 1/3 of the dried root per cup of water and simmer on the stove for 15 minutes to make a decoction. Another option is to take a teaspoon 1/8 to 1/4 of the tincture, three times a day. Do not increase the dose – the herb has powerful laxative effects that can be harmful in large doses.

Caution:  Phytolaccus can be toxic. The herb should be used only under the supervision of a qualified expert in the proper use of this herb. Phytolac should not be used by pregnant and lactating women, or in people with lymphocytic leukemia or gastrointestinal irritation.

Wild Indigo Root

Baptisia tinctoria ). The Wild Indigo, helps to destroy harmful microbes in the body and cleans the lymphatic system, improves lymph flow and reduces swelling of the lymph glands.

To obtain a powerful herbal cleansing product, combine indigo root with blades and phytolac. It can be taken as a decoction with 1/3 teaspoon of dried root per cup of water.

Cook over low heat 15 minutes and drink a cup three times a day. Or take 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of tincture three times a day. Do not use wild indigo if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Exercise is vital

The body has no organ other than the heart to pump the lymph. That means that the lymph is based on deep breathing and exercises to move.

While performing the cleansing of the lymphatic system, be sure to increase aerobic exercise – try brisk walking, bouncing on a mini trampoline or jogging (link). In addition, it is important to take time to practice deep breathing and exercises to help pump the lymph with fresh oxygen.

In-depth cleansing of the lymphatic system is the key to efficient long-term weight loss and great health. It is also the key to experiencing great health and life  without pain .

Clean your lymphatic system with lymphatic drainage

  1. Place your fingers on your neck just behind your ears, with one hand on either side of your neck.
  2. Push the skin of your neck down firmly, working with your fingers down your neck and away from your ears. Take 10 massages to work from your ears down.
  3. Place your hands on the inside of your shoulders along the clavicle, with one hand on either side of your neck.
  4. Push the skin along the top of your shoulders into the inside of your collarbone, massaging inwards five times.

You can do it yourself or someone else, although try to get a full massage that includes lymphatic drainage.

Note:  Women who are pregnant or breast-feeding should not cleanse the lymph nodes, or people with diabetes or other chronic health problems, except under the supervision of a qualified health professional.

How to detoxify your lymphatic system with castor oil

The procedure is very simple. All you have to do is apply the oil on different parts of the skin. For lymphatic stimulation, only castor oil is applied to the lower abdomen.

Take a cotton cloth folded in several layers and cold-pressed castor oil. Saturate the cloth in the oil and apply it to the skin. You can leave all night. Castor oil will increase the circulation of lymphatic fluids, reduce inflammation and improve your digestive system.

Sweat in a sauna bath

Perspiration is one of the best ways to get rid of toxins. Sauna baths raise the temperature of our body, thus stimulating the sweat glands. Toxins such as copper, lead, sodium, mercury and other dangerous chemicals are excreted through sweat.
