4 COSAS DEL DÍA A DÍA DIFÍCILES DE HACER CON FIBROMIALGIA Y SÍNDROME DE FATIGA CRÓNICA.

Seguramente si tienes unos años con fibromialgia ni te darás cuenta ya de tus dificultades del día a día, cosa que sí es observada con preocupación y angustia en quienes se inician con la enfermedad. De pronto tendrás contracturas en los brazos mientras te secas el cabello, y por ende dolor y no detectas el porqué. La ropa es todo un caso en la mayoría de los días para muchas. En mi caso personal, cada vez que puedo suelto el botón del pantalón y disimulo, y definitivamente todo me molesta, zapatos, medias, ….todo. Llegar a casa y ponerse ropa holgada es todo un placer, verdad?

Hablar largamente por teléfono??? ya me olvidé casi como es. Más bien me irrita, no se como ponerme y no veo el momento de colgar.

En cuanto a manejar….somos peligros@s al volante, más en días de fibroniebla. En USA aconsejan a las personas con fibromialgia que eviten manejar. Nos distraemos fácilmente y podríamos chocar.

Pero además, se dan casos de quedarnos dormidas (mucho más quienes sufren Síndrome de Fatiga Crónica) . Y sé de varios casos.

Y ni hablar de los casos de fibros manejando tranquilamente y de pronto sentirse totalmente perdidas (desorientación espacial), aún yendo por caminos rutinarios, fibros de toda edad, inclusive muy jóvenes. No saber donde están ni a donde van por varios minutos.

Deben parar su vehículo, se echan a llorar y luego entran en un ataque de pánico. También ocurre caminando. Tan igual como ocurre al 25pct de personas de edad avanzada que ya inician problemas cognitivos.

A la fibromialgia la destacan por el dolor, fatiga, depresión, ansiedad, insomnio, migrañas y un sin número de etcéteras. Y nos medican por todo eso. Pero qué hay de los problemas cognitivos de lo que el médico no habla? Qué hay de jóvenes fibros que dejan sus estudios o pierden sus trabajos por falta de concentración, distracción marcada y otros temas afines, y que además de la fibromialgia deben superar su frustación?

La fibromialgia y el síndrome de fatiga crónica pueden afectar cada aspecto de su vida, hasta las tareas más comunes de la vida diaria. A veces, usted puede sorprenderse por la dificultad del “ordinario” de las cosas.

A través de hablar con un montón de gente con estas enfermedades, he identificado 4 cosas cotidianas que con frecuencia llegan a ser difíciles para nosotros debido a nuestros muchos síntomas. Mucha gente piensa que son los únicos que tienen este tipo de problemas, pero definitivamente no estamos solos!

EL ARREGLO PERSONAL

Es una cosa básica – se levanta, ducha, se arregla su cabello, y hacersepresentable antes de salir al mundo. , ¿No? Para nosotros, no es tan sencillo.

En primer lugar, LA DUCHA: Que a su vez puede conducir a más síntomas ) el agua caliente puede causar mareos y activar su sensibilidad a la temperatura del rocío del agua, para muchos de nosotros, es doloroso a la piel a cualquier temperatura, gracias a un síntoma llamado alodinia (dolor producido por lo general estímulos no dolorosos). permanente de ese tiempo y el uso de los brazos para frotar vigorosamente el cabello y el cuerpo pueden llevar los músculos a estar cansados y doloridos. Muchos de nosotros opta por los baños de tina , que eliminan muchos de los problemas.

Luego está el estilo de su cabello. Sosteniendo los brazos hacia arriba para cepillar, un golpe seco y plano de hierro es duro en los brazos. Por la sensibilidad al calor , herramientas de diseño puede hacer que te sientas como si te estuvieses cocinando, especialmente después de una ducha de agua caliente. En algunos de nosotros, también pueden provocar sudoración excesiva, que puede deshacer todo el trabajo duro sólo unos minutos después que haya terminado. Se puede hacer un problema del maquillaje también.

LA ROPA

Pretinas. Correas del sujetador. Elástico en los calcetines. Telas ásperas. Etiquetas. Estas son todas las cosas que pueden causar mucho dolor a causa de la alodinia. Muchos de nosotros tenemos que adaptar nuestra forma de vestir para evitar este síntoma, o para hacer al menos un problema menor.

La Sensibilidad a la temperatura puede jugar un papel muy importante aquí, también. Lo que empieza como un suéter calentito en un día frío puede convertirse en una molestia sofocante si el calentador está demasiado alto. Una brisa fresca con rapidez puede hacer que lamentes un par de pantalones cortos y una camisa de algodón ligero. Para aquellos con una sensibilidad fría y caliente, decidir qué ponerse, crea sufrimiento y las consecuencias de la decisión equivocada, puede ser muy desagradable que sea preventivo o de sobrecalentamiento, o alternar entre los dos.

EL HABLAR POR TELÉFONO

Normalmente no pensamos en una conversación como una actividad mental intensa, pero cuando se tiene la disfunción cognitiva (el cerebro de niebla o neblina de fibro), puede convertirse en uno.

Para toda interacción social, se necesita energía, y cuando usted no está cara a cara, se necesita aún más.

Una gran parte de la comunicación es el lenguaje corporal, y se pierde que cuando estás en el teléfono. Eso significa que usted tiene que centrarse más. Para la mayoría de la gente, no es perceptible. Para nosotros, sin embargo, sin duda puede ser. Nuestros cerebros con niebla no pueden estar a la altura a veces.
Además, cuando estás en el teléfono, es posible que se distraiga con las cosas en su entorno que la otra persona no es consciente.

Da miedo cuando esto sucede y puede conducir a un ataque de ansiedad, lo que hace la situación aún peor y puede aumentar los síntomas de otros.

Algunos de nosotros también tenemos dificultad para prestar atención a la infinidad de cosas que necesitamos durante la conducción. Puede que no seamos capaces de procesar toda la información necesaria para estar seguro en la carretera.

Una pequeña fracción de las personas con estas enfermedades se detiene completamente por completo. Algunos pueden tener que limitar su forma de conducir a lugares conocidos, mientras que otros son más bien parte del tiempo, pero optan por no conducir en días especialmente malos. Es una decisión personal, pero que tenemos que ser conscientes de protegernos a nosotros mismos y a los demás.
