La  fibromyalgie  est souvent décrit comme « la maladie invisible », et il est parce que le patient qui souffre ne montre pas de signes extérieurs, mais la souffrance fait du muscle et des douleurs articulaires aiguës et la fatigue constante, des maux de tête chroniques, l’ anxiété et la dépression.

Le meilleur moyen d’aider un patient atteint de  fibromyalgie est de se renseigner sur la maladie. Il est important de savoir quels sont les symptômes, quelle est la cause de la maladie, comment on peut soulager la douleur et, surtout, comprendre le comportement du patient souffrant de la maladie.


La douleur corporelle et la fatigue invalidante qui caractérisent la  fibromyalgie  sont responsables de l’entrave à la vie quotidienne des personnes atteintes de cette maladie. Une façon de les aider consiste à exécuter les tâches physiques qu’ils doivent effectuer quotidiennement. Les tâches ménagères, les achats d’épicerie, arroser le jardin, faire le dîner parmi beaucoup d’autres. Ce n’est pas tous les jours que le patient atteint de  fibromyalgie aura  besoin de cette aide, mais quand ce sera le cas, il lui sera sans aucun doute reconnaissant.


Comme nous l’avions déjà signalé, la  fibromyalgie  est une maladie invisible. Si vous vivez avec une personne atteinte de cette maladie ou si vous en prenez soin, il est essentiel que vous communiquiez ouvertement avec elle. Les patients atteints de  fibromyalgie  s’habituent habituellement à la douleur et, même si cela les rend incapables, ils ne se plaignent pas et ne manifestent pas leur maladie à l’extérieur. C’est pourquoi il est important d’établir un canal de communication fluide et fiable.
